Participation in Projects
As soon as ClusterStar receives a project request every student business consultant will be notified and is able to apply via our application form. Afterwards we inform the prospective customer about the number of interested students and their qualifications.
Since every project has its own particular structure, there are various models for participation:
1.) Full-time participation
This is the classical approach. Student business consultants work in the customer's offices. By this means, they can easily communicate with the customer and make sure that their operations always match the customer's idea. In particular surveys among the employees, or process analyses, may be easily carried out/undertaken.The customer usually provides the infrastructure and will often refund hotel and flight costs. For students who aim to do highly demanding projects in foreign countries, a full-time participation would be the ideal model.
2.) Part-time participation
A part-time participation usually consists of around 20 hours/week, and can be very interesting when it comes to consulting projects in the local Profit Center. A consultant may then easily buffer the peaks of an existing team, or carry out smaller projects.3.) Satellite concept
The satellite model is used in projects where worldwide information and research is needed. In times of globalisation, with international competitors and customers, many questions cannot be answered on a regional scale anymore. The ClusterStar network has therefore developed a model which allows us to support a core team, which works with the customer, with analyses and information gathered in Profit Centers all over the world. This concept is used particularly for modules in the fields of market research and IT-based tasks, and also makes the participation of our strategic partners possible.
